The Anawati Chair is organizing a training course for a Certificate in “Women in Abrahamic Religions”.
In a globalized and increasingly secularized world, these approaches help reassess religious movements and renew readings of sacred texts without replacing theological discourse.
The third edition of the Seminar on Religions and Human Sciences will focus on women within religious systems. We are honored to welcome Oumaima Abou Bakr, Yara Matta, Raja Ben Slama, and Faouzi Bedoui as guest scholars.
The course will take place in April – May 2026, on April 17 and May 1, 8 and 15, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, at IDEO.
It will be given in Arabic.
The course leads to a 1 ECTS certificate.
Assessment: students are assessed on attendance, participation and a written assignment related to the seminar theme.
Course fees: The course, including the 4 seminars, costs LE 300.
