The Anawati Chair is organizing a training course for a Certificate in “Islam and Other Religions”. How has Islamic thought viewed other religions, and how have other religious traditions viewed Islam? This perspective will combine theological, historical, and sociological dimensions.
The course will take place in May 2025, on May 9, 16, 23 and 30, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, at IDEO.
It will be given in Arabic.
In 2026, another training session will be organized within the Chair.
Each morning will feature specific teaching by an expert, and the afternoon will be devoted to a reprise and debate between the researcher and the students.
The course leads to a 4 ECTS certificate.
